Desiccation data read me file. 
This is the data for the desiccation trials performed as part of the Reaction norm experiment. This experiment was conducted by the Warner lab over the summer of 2020.  
Hatchling were placed in tubes and put in to an incubator set to 28 degrees C with drying agent. Hatchings were weighed before and after the trial to assess water loss during the trial. 
Below is the explanation of all the data columns in the parental source data sheet. 

Observation 
A number given at the time of processing. This is not a measurement but rather a number used to track the total eggs processed. 

Egg ID
Individual ID given to each egg and subsequently each hatchling after hatching.

Date
Date of the desiccation trial. 

Tube
The tube number the hatchling was in during the desiccation trial. 

StartMass 
Mass of the hatchling at the start of the trial 

EndMass
Mass of the hatchling at the end of the trial

Feces
This indicates rater or not the hatchling defeated during the trial. 

TimeIn
Time that the trial started. 

IniRH
The initial relative humidity reading for the trial.

FinalRH
The final relative humidity reading for the trial
